Surgery? What surgery?

09 Nov

The sleepy socks are finished, but are in use over at my boyfriend’s and I keep forgetting to bring my camera. In the meantime, I’m on to my next project. Which is really an old project. Raspy. Oh Raspy, how frustrated you’ve made me. But I’ve been thinking long and hard and I’ve come up with an Aunt who’s larger than me in all of the required dimensions (taller being the most important dimension since the waist shaping is hitting my hips). So I’m plunging forward!  I’m nearly to the raglan shaping. Hooray for Wednesdays and knitting in class. I’m going to miss that next semester with my independent studies.

Also, isn’t spaying supposed to mellow out your cat? The vet warned me B would be lethargic and in a lot of pain and to give her extra love. I was looking forward to coming home and babying her, having her poor tired body curled up with me, but no, she’s her regular run all around jump on everything self, so instead I have to keep worrying she’s going to rip her stitches open. Stitches that aren’t even stitches, but glue. Surgery? What surgery?

Glue? Weird. Glad kitty is feeling well, even if it wasn’t expected!

Thanks. I’m sure it’s special surgical suture glue, but this was the first I’ve heard of it. Definitely weird.
