Halter Top.

17 Jun

Yarn: Cotton Ribbon from The Natural Dye Studio. 2, 50g skeins.

Needles: Size 8s from my Denise kit.

Pattern: Winged it, lace pattern from  this.

Notes: Meh, it’s ok. I had no idea what to do with just 2 skeins of this yarn. There wasn’t enough to do edging, so it curls a lot. But since it’s just for wearing around the house, it’ll be fine. I do really love the lace pattern. I’m thinking of buying more yarn and doing a full tank top.

I like how the colors blend together. Remember, I’ve got 2 skeins as well. A tank would be nice. I have been wanting to make one for a while. Perhaps I’ll buy 3,4? more skeins.

    Holy hot stuff, Batman!
I so envy your…I don’t even know…vision? Chutzpah? Fearlessness? Designer sensabilities? Your ability to just sit down with a skein of yarn and an idea and make it happen. I guess I need to work on my independence from patterns.
