Yarn: Leftover Cotton Classic (Tahki * Stacy Charles, Inc. – color 3938) from this tank. 2 balls, but neither of them full, so maybe 1 skein.

Needles: I thought they were size 6s, but it turns out they were 5s, which I realized when I switched to the double points for the last 12 rows. Oh well.

Pattern: Rose-of-Sharon

Notes: I so do not love this as a hat. (Though it’s actually quite adorable on Shawn, it just doesn’t work on me.) I have some yarn left, so I’ll do the icord for the purse strap and see how that looks. It may become a gift though. Emily, I’m looking in your direction.

    Yeah, I’ll take it!
I knew I recognized the lace on that pattern. I haven’t started mine yet but was going to do it soon. Which size is it?
You did a beautiful (and quick!!!!) job knitting it even if it’s not you.

Gosh am I a greedy guts! I didn’t notice the word “may”. If you like it as a purse, please ignore my hand reading into the bowl, so to speak. I think it would be a great tea-time purse.

It is just me, or does it seem like a lot of knitting misadventures end that way? “If I put a strap and a button on it, it would make a nice purse!”
It’s beautifully done, but no, it doesn’t really seem like “you.” Ah, well. Maybe someday I’ll show you the disasterous shawl I knit….
