Can you tell I’m in a sour mood? I got in a fight* with my (well-meaning) dad the other day when he was trying to find out more about the job that I still haven’t heard back from. I hate waiting. I’m feeling very wound up and I have no real reason to be. My life is actually going really well right now. I get to pick up the guild loom on Saturday, I get to go home for Thanksgiving and Christmas, and I have no big projects or deadlines on the horizon. I wish I felt better about all that instead of feeling stressed out and having anxiety dreams.

On a positive note, last night I did 4 more rows on Drunken Argyle while watching Wordplay. I highly recommend it. I liked it better than Spellbound or Word Wars because it left out the schadenfreude aspect for the most part.

*I should add that I typically use the term fight very loosely since I just about never actually fight. So in this case fight means something more like snippy. I answered all his questions tersely and got off the phone quickly and was all worked up about it, rather than any actual yelling or exchange of words.
