Project Spectrum? What’s that?

06 Jun

warp0605071720_2Out in the real world it is June. And in terms of Project Spectrum, that means black, red, and metallics. But here at ellieheartscrafts it is May and we love yellow and green. And it’s going to stay May for a LONG time. I’ll be wrapping that teeny tiny thread (20/2 cotton) around ALL those pegs (11.5 yards) just about 900 times. Then I’ll be threading those 900 strands through about 450 heddles, pausing to place some green here and there. Then I’ll be weaving off those 11 yards. I’m excited and thrilled, mind you, not complaining at all, but I’m not expecting to devote much thought to black, red, and metallic. Never you mind that I’m dressed in a charming black ensemble today and have roasted red pepper hummus a little strawberry candy in my lunch box.
