I spun this!

Another shot? Oh, OK…

I have no idea what the fiber is, it was whatever people in the weaving guild had lying around and donated to our Maker Faire booth. How much do I love the yellow one? I call it choco-nana. Yum! I’ve already written to Jacey at Insubordiknit for some farm sanctuary fiber to play with. I don’t see it replacing my zillion other crafts, but it sure was fun!

Yes, spinning is fun, and addicting! Especially if you’re a knitter!

    It begins…
So glad you enjoyed spinning. It’s something I’ve always wanted to try. But I’m a little afraid of the consequences…
On a related note — when I phones Jeff from Albuquerque and asked what he was up to, he said he was spinning. Excitedly, I asked, “Yarn”?
    “No, lettuce.” He replied.

wow, that yarn looks awesome! congratulations on the success. i took a 3-hr workshop to learn how to spin w/ a drop spindle a couple of years ago and i was so sad that i wasn’t coordinated enough to do it.
ps: thanks for stopping by my blog to say hi!
