Red Scarf

02 Jul

IMG_3829IMG_3834Another not so recently finished project. This one is for the red scarf project. Please accept the beautiful close ups as an apology for the lazy action shot. It’s been done for a while, but I hadn’t bothered to weave in all the ends until a couple of weeks ago.

Yarn: Tahki Yarns Cotton Classic, didn’t keep track of how much. 3 or 4 skeins?

Needles: Probably 5s? I forget… This is why you need to take your notes right away!

Pattern: Woven herringbone stitch from the Vogue Stitchionary: Rw 1 (RS) k1, *yo, sl 1, k2, pass sl st over 2 k sts; rep from * to end. Row 2 – p1, *yo, sl 1, p2, pass sl st over 2 p sts; rep from * to end. Rep rows 1 and 2.

Finished: June 2009

Notes: I think this came out absolutely beautiful, so while I’m sorry I didn’t get it done in time for last year, I think I fit the requirements of quality not quantity.
