Taza chocolate is some of my FAVORITE chocolate! I love their chocolate mexicano–I just wrote about it on the 1st!–but I haven’t tried that flavor yet!

How did you like that chocolate? I tried one of the flavors right out of the pack and found it gritty, like it wasn’t designed to be eaten plain, but I bet it would be delicious used in a recipe as the flavor was excellent. Or is the grittiness supposed to be some of the appeal? Or did my friend and I each get a bad gritty batch?

I actually did like it, but it was very gritty, which is I think because it more designed to make hot chocolate and thus maybe has more sugar?
