So since moving in together, I’ve been trying to use up freezer things so I can add in a container for extra ice. Also, Rick loves banana bread. Also, I had been wanting to make banana split bread ever since I saw this not-really-a-recipe. So I googled and found this actually-a-recipe.
I didn’t have all the right things, so mine is more a chocolate chip strawberry banana bread. I should have used a bigger loaf pan – I ended up having to bake it 90 minutes instead of 60 – and I forgot the lesson I learned on a different loaf thing, that if you pull the top off the underneath part will not become a new beautiful top, it will just be an oily mess.
But it sure was tasty!
